ANTIX!- A New Multi-Media Production Company
Appleton, WI (2/12/2021) Recently in Appleton, Wisconsin ANTIX! Productions incorporated to become ANTIX! Productions LLC. ANTIX! is a multi-media production company aimed at supporting and inspiring both artists and audiences. Originally founded as a college project back in 2016, artistic Producer, Director and Founder Alex J. Frantz, an Appleton native, decided to continue the ANTIX! mission in the Valley.
“The arts profession is not for the faint of heart, many artists struggle to make ends meet. Artist spend countless hours working to pay the bills instead of following their true artistic passions. I aim to form a company that places the artist and their aspirations first, and the audience will follow.” states Frantz.
ANTIX! is an organization dedicated to artists and their ideas. They are committed to enabling artists to embrace the collaborative spirit, push their boundaries and astound audiences. Antix! presents multi-media productions, including theater, podcasts, film and experiential pieces to engage audiences in new ways.
Since late 2020, Antix! has been working on an oral history project entitled “2020 Unmasked.” The project aimed to encapsulate the individuals’ experiences through 2020. “2020 was a year of collective trauma, we all experienced change throughout every aspect of our lives. I was curious- what could we learn from what we’ve been through.” Frantz said. He conducted over forty fifteen-minute interviews via Zoom from individuals across the country. Currently in post-production, the series will air on Youtube in early March.
Beyond the Youtube series, ANTIX! Productions intends to be producing performing arts content in the Valley throughout the year. Plans include a musical, a podcast, and a 24-hour theater festival before the end of 2021. ANTIX! is seeking collaborators in the Valley to become part of their network of artists. ANTIX! Productions announces 2020 Unmasked Project
Appleton, WI (1/22/2021) Today in Appleton, Wisconsin ANTIX! Productions LLC announced their current project, 2020 Unmasked. Carnegie Mellon University Alumni Alex J Frantz announced ANTIX! Production’s premiere Youtube Series, 2020 Unmasked.
2020 Unmasked is a retrospective oral history project documenting individuals’ personal journeys and experiences throughout 2020. One-on-One interviews will be captured via recorded Zoom calls to maintain Social Distancing guidelines. Currently, ANTIX! is soliciting participants to undergo 15-minute interviews via Zoom through the end of January 2021. Anyone looking to participate can reach out to Alex at alex@antix.productions. The project will air on the ANTIX! production’s YouTube Channel in March of 2021.
